I am so glad that there's such combination now. haha. So yun, do you want to go to this course?? We can aim for it together!!!!! (:

i purposely waited even though much has occurred since my last blogging, so that someone else can blog and i won't have like, consecutive posts... which would make me look like i spend too much time not studying (which unfortunately, is quite true)... BUT! if i wait any longer.. there will be like a built-up of information, plus, i'll forget what happened before. lol, see la! blog more, people. you guys are making me look bad :3


anyway, just came back from church. met heanwu's parents today.. i'm scared of his dad (sorry uncle!) cause he's quiet. HAHA anyhow, the sermon today was really good; it touched on the basic principle to use what God has given you. i guess what heanwu said the other day was true, i just needed to hear God's word right from the basics again, just to remind myself i guess. i'm starting to like this church more(: maybe cause i'm no longer having the thought of switching to another at the back of my mind. the notion of dipping one's toes into the swimming pool rather than diving right in was so me. haha, well, at least i'm slowly changing(:

oh yea, on the way back, i met lihxuan on the bus. all i can say is.. the juniors really have a lot of leisure time to spare :3

oh yea, so last weekend, a few of us went up to london to eat sichuan food.. it was quite a weird mixture of people, haha, not the usual gang. but still, it was quite nice. you guys won't believe how many make counters we went to -.- mac, benefit, clinque, dior, shu uemura, you name it, we went to it. haha, to play with the make up, but of course, we kind of bought a lot as well, especially chenmo. haha. and of course, we did take pictures, lol.





okay, i know this is like, super late, haha. but nevertheless ..HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR SWEETIES! haha, my chu xi ye was quite nice, and i'm oh-so-pleasantly surprised about it. lol. went over to pynnie's place.. along with jessica (both, juniors) and who else but my housemate. i'm calling pynnie and jessica, pyncie and jessie from now on. hopefully, i'll remember, haha. oh, and guess what? we successfully cooked tomyam and bakuteh, with the help of secret (in other words, instant) pastes! yesyes, i know all of you won't believe that i actually cooked but i did, okay! haha, more pictures.



okay, we just had our actual celebration yesterday.. although we did all(almost all, some people forgot that it was cny, tsktsk, lol) wear red. coincidentally, we had a fire drill that day so everyone could see a whole mob of red in the carpark. haha, weirdly, only the msians/sporeans have this thing for wearing red during cny. even the chinese don't do that. anyway, the gang went to the park to take pictures during lunch hour, haha, since the weather was nice and all. more pictures.




okay, so yesterday, the whole cny lunch at four seasons restaurant ordeal was FINALLY over and the whole thing wasn't too bad, really.. except for the fact that the manager at the restaurant was a black-faced idiot, but most of those in the chinese restaurant service sector are anyhow so it doesn't really matter. apparently, it was also NZ's independence day and the folks had decided to bring the party to bayswater as well. it wasn't a pretty sight. there were plently of people crowding the train station, with cans of beer in their hands. anyway, we arrived at the restaurant too early and so, we went over to the nearby shopping centre to pass our time. thankfully, the mobs of people did not crowd that part of the town. and so, we took more pictures at zara. haha



the food was, as calvin puts it, decent. it tasted like, home. haha. our group dominated the restaurant i think. 3 tables full of ctc people -.-
