Hey guys, yun says she has found a free n ez tour to hongkong for $480. Hotel included. But we'll be travelling by jetstar which is okay to me la. Otherwise, there's the $680 one which travels by cathay pacific. which one will you prefer?

And qi prefers taiwan actually. hmm. i m pretty okay with it just that i think travelling will be tough as we dono our way there. Unless we have a tour guide which will cost us alot more. coz jessica says she's willing to be our tour guide if we go hongkong!!! haha. meaning we can save on our tour guide fee! (: not only so, she can show us where to get really cheap stuffs since she lives there.

So how how? we need to book really early! reply asap!

hey darlings! i forgot about the blog too! lol, i've not spoken to any of you guys for so long ): was pleasantly surprised to see so new many new posts. you guys must be really bored now that alevels are over hahaha.

actually, i just got back from amsterdam a few days ago. it was good. lots of sight-seeing and relaxed touring. so and i learnt so much about their red light district (youngest is 18, oldest is 74). amsterdam is really pretty though (go see photos on fb(: ) and no, i didn't try weed. so yea!

now that i'm back, i should start studying for my finals. it's really scary because there's so much to study and my exam timetable is really quite bad ): but i'll manage, or at least i'll have to manage, somehow.

oh, and i'm going to greece on tuesday!! will post many lovely photos and tell you guys all about it when i'm back. on sunday, i'm going for burberry's sample sale woo! i doubt i'll buy anything though. it should be quite ex and my friend who has already been, said that the bags they have on sale are really ugly.. we'll see (:

um, what else.. oh, i've been looking around for property in london.. to stay in for next year. we've kind of pinpointed a few that we like but there's no finalised flat or flats yet. i might be goning to see yet another flat on monday. they're not cheap, so sad!

and you guys have so many photos without me! i'm major-jealous ))): we must take LOADS of pictures when i'm back okay! oh yes, and my flight's been booked. it's tentatively 19th june and i'm trying to get ti changed to the 13th so that my friend can help me lug my luggage back (: haha. keep that date free, people! :D oh and another thing, i'll be in singapore the whole summer this time round (excluding travelling), no more heading to shanghai, for those that i've not told hahah. but i'll probably be trying to squeeze in two internships ): well, we'll see if i'm able to get them first la..

Well, i wanted to b a doctor like yz but later think that i cant make it bcos i have shaking hands plus i think i will most prob faint everytime they wan me to do sth. HAHAS.
My ambitions change drastically every now and then thereafter.
I wanted to b a psychologist for a period of time, then changed to want to b a DJ, for now i want to have a job that focus on maketing or PR related jobs. :D

How abt writing about favourite past time this time round? Everybody has to contribute!! (:
before i write mine, i guess yz's fav past time is to count money! I rmb that's what she said her hobby was during the first day in skl during sec 3 times.

hi everyone!

Sorry for my long absence! i actually forgot about the blog!! haha (im really quite absent minded). i remembered about the blog when i was going thru my fav webbys. So there is some updates of my life!

1. Job : Everyone is contributing to our shrinking economy, so im working too!

i'm tuitoring 5 kids! ( but still kinda free in week days =D)

2: Japan Trip:

Food was great, weather was wonderfully cold! The sashimi and sea food over there is sooo fresh and they are naturally sweet. Hokkaido's milk is super creamy, leaves a very pleasant after taste in mouth! Seriously very enjoyable, and totally worth the money!

3. Uni : Yz is rite! i tink im gg to be an engineer or scientist.. im looking at the NUS chemical engineering course, but i saw their cut off is like AAAA. i dun think i can go in.

4. Life : still learning to drive~ but my Dday (test date) is 15/5/2009. hope i can pass in my first try. i have attended 13 practical lessons le.

Now i spend my days going online, playing the guitar and occassionally going out with my family

My childhood aspiration is to become a CID. And looks like i'll never fulfill it now...

ANW, i went for the NTU & NUS open houses on saturday and the business talk was like, sooo boring! but i heard the other talks were boring as well..haha, that kinda made me feel better..

I ended up taking home tons of brochures and throwing away most of them. Hunting for freebies was pretty fun! haha..i feel so cheapo now.

And all this while JQ'a enjoying life in china..hm..i wanna go overseas too! :[

yoyoyoyoyo! um.. i just got back from ireland yesterday. well, technically, it was day before yesterday. anyway, the acting went okay. i made people laugh with my mistake (of throwing chocolates into the stage lighting instead of to the upper part of the theatre) and i slapped the guy i was supposed to slap, too hard :3 still feeling a bit bad about it all heh. but overall, people said my performance as a bimbo/grandma/random hot person was good so i guess i'm happy :D and ireland was so tiring! it was fun though. did a lot of walking; my feet still hurt quite a bit but it was fun overall. i'll never look at cobbled streets the same ever again. they've caused my feet much distress. i'll leave a photo at the end.

oh, and i went for the bodyworks exhibition today and saw lots of preserved bodies, how fun. i know it has nothing ot do with my course :3 and i learnt quite a bit, as well as recollected a lot of my sec4 biology. Pat Joseph would have not been pleased at the amount i had forgotten ):

oh, another thing about ireland, MUMMMYYYYY, i had to listen to a couple having sex one of the nights. it was so awful! i don't think they knew of my presence sigh. i was, and still am quite the traumatised soul. it was bad. oh and an irish guy wanted to bring me home at the pub in ireland. plus, he gave me his namecard and i'm supposed to email him to let him know that i've reached back safely gah. thankfully, i had my friends to help me escape from giving him a kiss and/or dancing.

YOYOYOYOYO! Happy Valentine's!

OK, i know this colour sucks. but since its V Day, i thought i'd use pink. I think this is only my 2nd post or something..lol. Anw, i'm not doing much these days, just looking for jobs, going for some interviews(they never call me back) and tuitioning kids at night. So basically i'm quite free in the day time. Then i decided to go sign up for guitar lessons at the Yamaha in lot 1, but when i reached there, Yamaha has already been replaced by a new arcade..sigh..they always have perfect timing for these kind of things ...

Oh yea, i quit my cashiering job at NTUC because its too tiring to stand for 6 hours a day, so i guess i'm done working in this area. Alright, i promise to update more often, and btw, who has the photos for the vivo outing? send me send me!

Hey guys, rmb i mentioned to you about me going to kukup, msia? It's a fishing village and it has entertainment such as mahjong, karaoke etc. sth like a chalet. Well, i went to chk out the pricing already. This time, we paid arnd $75 each. Three meals provided, including a bbq at night. and there's a trip to a nearby kellong.. I think the price is quite steep lah. bt my mum say the price is negotiable esp when we can go during wkdays or non sch hols. show u guys some pics.

oh yes, continuing from yun's post, i've been watching plenty of movies lately.. like kungfu panda (i totally agree, the movie was pretty awesome), hancock, red cliff (watched that today. totally bummed out by the abrupt ending, or rather hiatus) and even older movies like becoming jane, the oxford murders.. lol. no idea why i'm watching that many movies but yea, those are what i've watch since i arrived in shanghai. they're all pretty good actually. nothing was all that bad.. the plot of the oxford murders caught me by surprise actually.. if you like the csi series, you've got to watch it.. just because it's another detective/forensics-themed movie lol.

anyway, i've to sleep soon.. can't wait till friday(:

I am going to blog, as in a serious one, a non-nonsense one. FINALLY right? Sorry for not blogging for so so so long. okay. Seriously I did not blog for so long because I do not know what to blog about. My life is kind of boring, yes boring.

firstly, I want to comment on some of the movies that I watched recently.

Kungfu Panda- Panda Po is CUTE CUTE CUTE and CUTE. The movie is really funny and the kind of humor is not the same as other animation movies. The only thing that I can criticize is that the movie is TOO TOO short! What a waste. Oh, and a quote that I remembered from the movie that I think is quite meaningful. "to make something special, you just have to believe it's special" yeah, it's special !
Iron Man- didn't want to watch it initially because of the main actor, can't believe an old man acting as a super hero!? Omg. However, after hearing much positive reviews about this movie, decided to give it a chance. Yep. And surprisingly, it was quite good and extremely humorous. Can't stop laughing at some scenes, seriously. This old man is not just an old man after all.
Incredible Hulk- it is better than the first one I think. But this is definitely not an impressive movie, just an alright so-so movie with a predictable plot. But I don't really get the ending- fusion of Hulk and Iron Man??? Whoa, if it's really true… i cant imagine.
Made of Honor- Quite an interesting and different movie. Although the ending is quite expected. But still, it's worth my time watching. The moral of the story is- A man and a woman can never be best friends. true?
The Happening- this movie is freaky, especially the starting when you have no idea what's HAPPENING. To avoid spoiler, I shall not elaborate anymore, go and watch if you really want to know what is HAPPENING.
Wanted- this movie is extremely extremely bloody, not recommended for those who are Hematophobia (afraid of blood). Some scenes are really COOL, I was stunned when I see them. And most importantly, Angelina Jolie is nothing but HOT. without her, the movie will be so boring.
21- the actor named Jim Sturgess is quite CUTE seriously. But that's not the point. The movie is really fantastic. I especially like the way it is directed. I love the way they link everything together. Well, basically it is a movie about mathematics, statistic in fact. Quite interesting the way they make use of Mathematics to earn lots of money. maybe we should try some day?
Hancock- Not like any other superhero movie. It has a very unique storyline but wasn't elaborated and made use of properly and effectively. Wasted. Could have been a much better movie. If I was the director, everything will be different. Haha.
Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay- this movie is nothing but lame. But some parts are really hilarious although I know it doesn't make sense at all. Oh, and most importantly, I really want to share a poem that was recited in the movie which really impressed me. So I'm going to share it with everyone here.

Moving on, I just want to say recently a lot of things happened, to you to me to us to all to everyone, be it good or bad, happy or sad. What's usually most important and matters the most is how one learns to accept all these happenings. To take it as it is or try to change it? If changing it can really make a whole lot of difference in the positive way, then do it. But don't try to change any facts as facts they are called, cannot be changed. All that you can do is to change your thinking your mindset. Feelings that can't be explained can only be endured.

I cant wait to be 18. i can do alot of things when i am 18. watch M18 movies, learn driving....... just so many things i can do. but what to do, my bday is like in NOV. never mind, is just 4 months more. i can wait.

recently, the weather has been extremely warm. global warming? is the world coming to an end? okay, this is random.

have been sleeping rather late recently, dont know why. just feel like sleeping late. i know it's bad. and i am trying hard to change it.

but well, i think i have been aging rather fast recently. i have memory lost, back ache, hair lost, insomnia, weird appetite.....heh but i grew 2 cm!! yeah, cant believe i am still gowing at this age. rather unbelievable.

I don't know why after finish typing all these and reading through it, I feel that it is quite nonsensical. Oh well, since I have spent so much effort and time typing this, I shall still post it anyway. Sorry if it bored anyone.

girls! i'm back in shanghai now. you'd never believe what i've been through the last 2 days.. in case i've already changed my msn personal message by then, 6 airports in 5 different countries! i was hoping for a speedy, calm trip back from prague (went for holiday with friends, too many photos to upload, will show you when i'm back) but there was a bomb hoax at the london terminal where i was supposed to be at and so i missed my connecting flight from franfurt, germany to shanghai. AND SO! i had to stay a night over at germany (free hotel room from airlines) and i took a flight to zurich, switzerland in the morning.. and then another flight to shanghai. and i was alone the whole time from the london terminal onwards.. it was pretty sad. okay shall continue later.. going out with mum now. lol, byee

Julia… your post is so frank and straight to the point. Seriously, I feel super insulted today as well but I don’t think I can muster enough courage to type and really say what I am feeling. At some point, I admire your ability to have that outburst.

I am freaking frustrated as I type this out too, but no amount of words can seem to apply to this bunch of so-called friends too. Worthless and bitch as they are but little did they know they are being detestable and selfish. Sometimes I really hope that a monster can eat them all up and give me peace. I am just glad that I am able to get rid of them soon.

I AM FEELING REALLYREALLY PFF-ED AT THE MOMENT. i should be mugging chemistry (exam's tomorrow) but if i don't vent my anger somewhere, i think i'll explode. sorry that you guys will have to bear the brunt of this.

Was reprimanded by mummy to blog, so here I am... Oh, I am still alive after the CTs and apologize for the disappearing act.

OMG! Totally freak out by some school events and had complained them to poor mummy… all she could do was listen and sigh with me. Anyways, happy that ZI, you step down already!!! (: -winks-
Nowadays, realized that life isn’t that bed of roses afterall. Yes, been through some tough times, and I am really glad to have still some nice friends to accompany me throughout the down periods. Have been having fun with my classmates last few days but they are in Malaysia as I am typing this. Almost all of my clique friends are down for it and poor me did not go… it is some geog trip which definitely is going to be SUPER exciting but I decided to stay in Singapore to do some other important stuffs like MUGGING. Okay, who am I kidding… I just want to have more rest as I am quite sick some time ago. Have to eat sleeping pills now to go to bed. XD

watched this drama just now (yes, i know i should really be studying at the moment). somehow, the short 20-minute drama really touched me. there was one significant phrase - "i couldn't win over his past." i guess that's probably true in many ways. maybe i'm thinking too much but ain't a girl's intuition usually spot-on? i suppose i should trust my gut feeling. sadly, the female lead had the most tragic ending. sadness.

we have been very busy for the pass week with cricket training then some test with loads of hw to do.. hehe.. this term is really passing fast and coming to a sudden end too.. really looking forward to june holis!! can sleep as long as i like!! but the block test 2 coming after that really spoils the holiday mood.. go to go and study for the maths test later.. will blog some more later too.!!

the fact that i'm blogging 3 days in a row is pretty disturbing but i shall blog all the same. haha. okay girls, my summer travelling plan is sort of confirmed now. oh and just to let you know, i called mummy and you didn't answer la, gosh! but i left my name with your brother.. anyways! my exams end on the 20th of june, going to prague on the 21st till 26th. brother's meeting me in shanghai and we're probably going to hongkong for the annual family trip, woohoo. then, we're flying back to singapore on the 18th of july will go to penang on the 31st, then kl on the 1st and back to singapore on the 4th. leaving for shanghai on the 7th and then i'll probably be touring china, ugh. maybe i'll be able to convince my dad to let me go to tw/jpn/korea.. anyways, that's about it for now. all you guys have got to free at least a day for me okay? haha, to make my trip worth the while. okay then [:

i'm trying my hardest not to talk about the matter. sometimes i find myself at a loss for words while walking with jo. i grab my tongue and try to come up with a different topic.. and we end up discussing what to do for international evening. one matter leads to another, my mind seems to be moving at full speed, and comes to a full circle. don't get me wrong, i'm progressing. it's the second day, just 3 more to go. i'll try calling xy tomorrow, if i'm not tied down with overdue revision just waiting to get done and an increasing load of work to sieve through.
